What is Good Friday??
Malo e lelei, kia orana and greetings to you all. Today's blog post is about What is Good Friday??
What exactly is Good Friday?
Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. It is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday.
Why do we call it Good Friday?
According to the Bible, the son of God was flogged, ordered to carry the cross on which he would be crucified and then put to death.
For god so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
JOHN 3:16
